English Version
In my first post, I welcomed you to this space and shared a bit about my intentions. Today, I want to invite you straight into the studio and talk about something that deeply defines my day-to-day life: the almost magical contrast in Barcelona’s rhythm.
Outside, in the streets of the Gothic Quarter, the world moves fast, catching up in the hustle of travelers and the echo of centuries past. But at the back of my workspace, the noise completely fades away. Only the rhythmic sound of the gouge carving out the linoleum remains, millimeter by millimeter. A slow, meditative process of pure artisanal resistance.

For me, linocutting is not just an illustration technique; it is a way to stop time in the middle of the digital age. I enjoy every single stage: from the reversed drawing on the block to the pressure of the printing press, not to mention the smell of fresh ink. It is a manual magic that I find very hard to detach from.
Precisely because I believe this process is somewhat therapeutic and transformative, I decided I didn’t want to stay alone at my desk with my back to the world. That’s why, in addition to printing my own collections, I want to share my processes with people.
Thank you for joining me on this second post and for supporting handmade art!
